Your never there when I need you the most,
You never really care,
I stand in your presence as a ghost,
With a silence I can't bare,
Your eyes see nothing but happiness,
A world so calm and pure,
I wish I could feel your sweet caress,
My one and only cure,
Your touch is cold as winters bite,
A shudder spells my spine,
I lie awake and dream at night,
Of a place where I'll be fine,
Past days of laughter flail and fall,
A memory now lost and worn,
A tattered photo burns them all,
In to my heart now torn,
And from my mind a consequence of all this bitterness,
A sight of things now yet to come,
A glimpse of happiness
